Steve writes about the stories and the issues important to CFHI’s efforts to champion the work of local health professionals in underserved communities, and to help the health professionals of tomorrow learn from the amazing examples of these local unsung heroes.

Evaleen Jones, MD is the Founder and President of Child Family Health International, and is part of the clinical faculty at the Stanford Medical School. Doctor Jones has been involved in International Health and Global Health for 20 years. As a pioneer in the field, she brings a passionate voice to many of the substantive and fundamental issues of our day.
